This one was a full main-floor gut. We took the level down to the studs and rebuilt it as one open kitchen and living space. Espresso cabinetry, a full-height quartz waterfall island, and a marble-look backsplash carry the look, while the custom millwork does the quiet work, with pull-out spice and knife storage fitted to the inch. A linear fireplace and a wall of windows anchor the living side.

How is a design-build firm different from hiring a designer and a contractor separately?
With a design-build firm like ACE, your designer and your builder are the same team. Your design gets written to your real budget from day one, and there is no gap between the plans and the build. Hiring them separately can lead to miscommunication, scope disputes, and cost overruns when the design hands off to a contractor who was not in the room for it.

Yes. ACE manages the full permitting process for custom builds and major remodels across Hennepin and Wright Counties. We know the local plan review in Wayzata, Maple Grove, Rogers, and the surrounding jurisdictions, and we handle submittals, corrections, and inspections as part of our scope.
Do you only build new homes, or do you remodel too?
Both. Our trusted team members take on kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, basement finishing, home additions, and full-floor gut renovations throughout the Wayzata area and the West Metro. The same process that powers our custom homes applies to every remodel, with one team and one contract.
What does the 3D home modeling process look like?
