ACE designs custom homes and major remodels around Wayzata and across the West Metro, then manages the construction from start to finish. We build to perform. With a PHIUS Certified Builder on the team, we pair careful design with high-performance building science. The result is homes that are tighter, quieter, and cheaper to run than code minimum.
Tom Wilmes is the owner of ACE, a licensed builder and general contractor (MN GC #BC633998) with more than two decades in carpentry, construction, and project management, and a PHIUS Certified Passive House Builder. On site you will find him reviewing details, coordinating the trades, and holding quality control as the construction manager and supervisor.
Tom runs the business alongside Missy Wilmes. Together they keep projects organized, communication clear, and the work on schedule, bringing in vetted trade partners and supervising the build closely so one team stays accountable from the first sketch through the final walkthrough.
Joe Wilmes is part of the family team at ACE, working alongside Tom and Missy on projects across Wayzata and the West Metro.
